Hello!
I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families bridge the gaps of disconnection and restore meaningful relationships. With a focus on working with kids, teens, adults, and couples, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and the complexities of multicultural family dynamics.
I believe that family disconnection can lead to frustration, misunderstanding, and loneliness, often leaving individuals feeling isolated from those they love the most. I am passionate about helping families rebuild communication, navigate cultural differences, and embrace neurodiversity, fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding.
I approach integrates empathy, practical tools, and culturally sensitive techniques that empower each client to address underlying issues, heal emotional wounds, and strengthen connections with loved ones. Whether you are struggling to communicate with your child, feeling distant from your partner, or navigating a family dynamic shaped by neurodivergence, I am here to support your journey toward reconnection and healing.
I’m an experienced individual and couple’s therapist with a background in forensic psychology. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bucknell University in 2017 and my graduate degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2020. Since then, I have worked full-time administering treatment and evaluations that focus on inappropriate sexual behaviors/relationships. The goal of this work was to guide clients in addressing preexisting problems while developing new, healthier skills. Often times, I find that many people are bound to their past without even recognizing it. I aim to allow clients to recognize how their past experiences affect their current actions and take action if they feel these past experiences are negatively impacting them. If you’re ready to let go of everything that is hindering your current lifestyle or relationship, let’s begin!
I know you have many options as far as providers are concerned so maybe knowing a bit about my own life will help you make an informed decision. I was born and raised in New York City to a single mother. She always encouraged me to grow and learn as she viewed education as the main way to progress in life. I’ve always held this value close to my heart and decided to seek further education through college. I chose psychology because I’ve always enjoyed listening to the stories of others and am fascinated by both the biology and psychology of the human mind….
My undergraduate experience was the first time I worked with people in a correctional setting and it made me recognize just how many people needed help but weren’t getting it. With this newfound interest in the forensic population, I sought out programs that focus on this population which led me to Colorado. I primarily utilize dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in session. Throughout this journey, I’ve been blessed enough to be accompanied by my partner of eight years and our two pets. Outside of work, I primarily spend time trying out new restaurants, playing games with friends, reading, and biking
